I've just started online dating. men are always trying to hold hands, rub my leg like 45 min into the date then kiss me at the end of the 2 - 3 hr date. we are literal strangers we literally just met... why would I be holding your hand or letting you put your tongue in my mouth

it's probably relevant that I don't do much chatting over the app before meeting as I like to see whether there's any vibe in person asap. so it's really coming out of nowhere, there was no big flirtation before meeting, the vibe of the pre meet messages is just quite neutral and practical, friendly

I am grateful that people are into me but at the same time it's so weird. I know I have to compromise a bit from my past of irl dating where attraction mounted over 4 months of friendship / 2 years of working together respectively but surely there's a limit... at least wait until the end of the 2nd date?

to me I'm sorry but it does come across as so presumptuous to the point of being rude for you to think that I am okay with a random stranger stroking my knee a mere 45 segments of 60 seconds into knowing you. and if I back away and move my knee away stop doing it! omfg. what happened to bodily autonomy. don't just start stroking away. my body is my castle and I don't let any random fondle it even if I have agreed to a date with you. do not attempt to traverse the moat if the drawbridge has not been lowered to you

I'm sure some people will get mad at this but are there any kindred spirits who understand what I mean?
